There will be bigger badder bosses coming to invade the solar system. The last couple of games will be about pushing back at the darkness and attacking it at it's root. But before that there will be a couple of prequel games. One about the start of the fall of the golden age and one about the battle of twilight gap.

I hope we get one where we go to the homeland of one these species and try to destroy them at their core.

Poor fallen, all they want is to bring back the traveler to save their planet. And we go to them to rek their shit? I have a feeling that cabal are like fallen in the sense that all they want is the protection of the traveler on their homeworlds. I can imagine the traveler will do the same to human kind and then humans will be like the cabal and fallen trying to get the protection of the traveler off the new hosts.
