I've never really used it exclusively. I ran it for ONE Iron Banner about 3 months back, because I had just received it. It was decent and I was like "well I'm getting a few more postmortem kills". Last 3 iron banners I just ran all legendary weapons the entire time, don't even have an interest in tossing on Gjallarhorn or Truth really. I ran Ill Will, LDR 5001, and the Swarm a few back. Last 2 IB's I ran Timur's Lash, LDR 5001, BTRD 345. I don't get all the Thorn TLW hate I honestly don't, I have NO ISSUE killing them just as easily as other players. It does get a bit annoying when you get a chucklehead bunch of fayg lamers running a 4-6 man fireteam in IB, teaming up and all 4-6 of them are using thorn? Seriously I saw faygs doing that and acting tough, teabagging like they had skill. But in all honesty the shotguns are the thing I get the most sick of. I can't say I ever saw upwards of 80 to 90% thorn and TLW usage, but I GUARANTEE and I DEFINITELY saw upwards of 90% of IB enemies I fought running shotguns. Not like its hard to stay back and laugh as they run at me, I pop 2-3 timur's into their skulls and they're dead. Its just annoying not being able to rush or turn corners without acting ilke a bitch becasue they're likely hiding like pu$$ies ducked down perfectly still around a corner. And yeah I ran into 6 man fireteams in this IB who would duck down and hide all over the map and wait for someone to walk by. And this passes for acceptable to their other fireteam members, since they had 6 together in multiple matches they must be ok with cheesedick shotgun hidey bitch tactics.
