Last expansion is focused on the Vex. Some factions of the Fallen become allies. Fourth race of Guardians + Fourth class will come when the Fallen join the Guardians. The Hive will be repelled or completely destroyed. After Oryx we'll have eventually have another Hive expansion where we kill their swarm heart/mind/whatever and the rest of the Hive dies off. The Cabal make an uneasy alliance with Earth and the Fallen but only after their current Emperor is killed (Cabal expansion) and his successor takes over (who is open to alliances). Last raid will be another Vault of Glass kind of thing but on Earth. Vex structures from the far future appear all over Earth. The penultimate boss fight will be Vex versions of the Guardians you're playing from the far future. They've realized that after all the events of Destiny, maybe the only way to beat Guardians is to pit them against their own Guardians. Final boss are five Hearts of Darkness belonging to a massive tree (think The Old One from Demon's Souls) made out of black steel/Vex metal. The Heart of Darkness we beat in the original Destiny game was just a part of this massive thing. The fight has phases which include mechanics from previous expansions and each phase gets harder than the last. At the end of a phase, a Heart becomes vulnerable. Game ends with the Traveler meeting a rogue faction of Vex that are actually benevolent. They decide that all the war throughout Destiny has scarred the universe too much and the only way to save this dimension is to reset it. The Traveler works with the friendly Vex to erase the Darkness and the Light from reality. The universe is altered. The Fallen never become spacefaring because they never meet the Traveler. The Cabal never enter the Milky Way because there is no Vex to chase. The Hive may still exist in some capacity but they won't be completely evil since the Darkness was erased. They probably bump into Humanity eventually but by that point, humanity will be ready to deal with them. The end. Trust me, my dad works at Nintendo.

In the distance, A small cottage with a light on. Hope! You move stealthily toward it, But your leg! AH! It's caught in a bear trap! Gnawing off your leg, (Quiet, quiet.) Limping toward the cottage, (Quiet, quiet.) Now you're on the doorstep, Sitting inside, Shia Labeouf. Sharpening an ax, (Shia Labeouf.) But he doesn't hear you enter, (Shia Labeouf.) You're sneaking up behind him. Strangling superstar Shia Labeouf. Fighting for your life with Shia Labeouf, Wrestling a knife from Shia Labeouf, Stab it in his kidney. Safe at last from Shia Labeouf. You limp into the dark woods, Blood oozing from your stump leg. But you have won. You have beaten Shia Labeouf Wait! He isn’t dead! Shia surprise! There’s a gun to your head and death in his eyes. But you can do jiu jitsu… body slam Shia LaBeouf. Legendary fight with Shia LaBeouf. Normal Tuesday night for Shia LaBeouf. You try to swing an axe at Shia LaBeouf. But blood is draining fast from your stump leg. He’s dodging every swipe, he parries to the left. You counter to the right, you catch him in the neck. You’re chopping off his head now…. You have just decapitated Shia LaBeouf. His head topples to the floor, expressionless. You fall to your knees and catch your breath. You are finally safe from Shia LaBeouf.

I want to see who is at the top of the Cabal war machine

Considering that they had to redo the story who knows. I would like some books or something that I can fully read to flushed out the story. versus waiting 9 more years to get the conclusion, It's like shenmue all over again :<

the hive have 4 more gods including the darkness. The fallen are scattered but might have something up their sleeve. ALL we've seen from the Cabal was a fleet, they have an entire empire that we have to fight. The vex have an insane amount of things they could do.

I really hope they make the absolute final boss a vex named xylar. That would be a great shout out.

Imagine if the traveller left us.

The Vex Axis Overmind at the heart of Mercury. After killing it, it should lead to a sparrow run to the surface before the planet shatters from the explosion. The Cabal Supreme Commander and/or Champion that comes to challenge Oryx, but we kill him before he gets to our system, so he challenges us. Fallen Archon and Kell from the House of Kings. They've were watching Skolas on Venus and steal the technology Skolas obtained from the Vault.

I wonder if we will ever get "Dark" armor? Like we corrupt ourselves partially for some unique power of the Darkness. Fight fire with fire, or in the case Darkness with Darkness.

Would be pretty beast to fight alongside with Kabr, Toland and Eris.

The real Questions are: How will our classes/sub classes change over the ten years? Will we receive a new subclass every year? Will they eventually redesign the OG subclasses? Will year 1 exotics make the entire journey? [spoiler] dont stop believin! [/spoiler] Edit: fixed spoiler. Edit: fixed none sense on first sentence.

I think TTK will be the end of the Hive for a while. Year 2 will introduce 1, maybe even 2 new races. The Hive will return at some point, not for a while though.
