The fact that many players felt the need to attach gamers purchasing Ghorn and the U.S. Government is surprising and, I just gotta say, kinda funny. I don't care if you don't like the president, if you are a hardcore conservative who hates equality and the poor, or an asshole liberal who won't shut up about equality and the environment, making you feel EVEN WORSE though you say you agree with them. Destiny is not a partisan game, but the community is EXTREMELY partisan.
For a bunch of nerds and geeks you all really seem to like to fight with each other rather than have these great things called civil discussions. Discussions involve two or more people speaking on an issue they either agree or disagree upon. They bring up facts to supports their claims, don't jump to the conclusion of shouting or typing TROLL or SCRUB in place of having to actually do the work to come up with facts to support their claim.
Xūr is not the president of the United States. Bungie is not the Anti-Christ. The only greedy corporation at play here is Activision, a company that seems to only be concerned with cranking out games and disregarding fans and the consumers for sake of higher profit. Don't hate Bungie, for it is neither Barack Obama and the Democratic Party, nor is it the 18 or something candidates for POTUS and the Republican Party. Bungie is a developer that cares MUCH MORE for the people than the U.S. Government. In conclusion, please, please leave politics out of Destiny. Seeing as how ORYX, THE TAKEN KING is about to bring a shitstorm of trouble to us Guardians, I'm thinking that talking about how Xūr is the U.S. Economy is about the last thing we need to be worrying about as a community and as Destiny players. THANK YOU, MY FELLOW GUARDIANS AND/OR GAMERS, HAPPY RAIDING OR WHATEVER YOU DO
*EDIT 1 I did actually mean attaching. Like as in gamers buying GHorn are the equivalent of the U.S. Government. Just FYI
