This may be just me
But I have a hard time believing in a deity whose only base of proof of existence is a book written hundreds of years ago by some guy

http://bible.com/100/psa.19.1.nasb The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. http://bible.com/100/rom.1.19-20.nasb because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. Proof is all around you.

Hate to break it to you, but bible passages aren't proof, you are just beating a dead horse Not that religion is wrong, at least it teaches people good morals (sadly they had to be thought to them by a cult), but using an old book written by a middle eastern man hundreds of years ago (who didn't live during the events described in the book) is kind of dumb by my standards Imagine thousands of years in the future people believing in spiderman because they found a book that says he exists... Just my opinion, nothing else

You have no idea how the bible came about.

Edited by Cosmic Milk: 8/25/2015 1:09:02 AM"The Bible was not written in one specific year or in a single location. The Bible is a collection of writings, and the earliest ones were set down nearly 3500 years ago." http://www.biblica.com/en-us/bible/bible-faqs/when-was-the-bible-written/ There you go

I know that, but your previous assertion was way off base.

Yeah, my bad I still stand on my point that using the bible as proof is illogical, but hey, to each its own I'll just sit back, relax and see how life plays out
