Halo reach (kind of) and the codAW had something similar but AOE wasn't as bad and it was your foot not your fist. Not saying it's not a rip off (because it is) but who cares. Bungie probably works closely with 3arc and IW and sledgehammer. And it wouldn't surprise me if activision FORCED trey arch to do it after seeing how it did in destiny PvP.
