No. It won't be. University begins again for me on Monday, and as an adult student, I will no longer have the time to RESTART that same tedious grind I have ALREADY completed.

Mate I have a job and four kids and I don't mind it. Just a difference of opinion maybe, but I've come to the conclusion that it will be nice to find out what new favourites there will be. I have had ghorn for 10 months now and I won't miss it if it means I have to think of new ways to play the game.

You say you've had ghorn for ten months and are getting kinda tired of using it, yes? What about the people out there who've been at the mercy of RNG for ten months and through no fault of there own, couldn't get the drop. Do you think that those who just bought it from xur are tired of it? Especially those that've run all the same weekly lottery tickets as you but ended up getting say, a fourth mida or plan c instead of a ghorn. Couldn't you search for the added guns in TTK anyway, whether ghorn was included or excluded? How is giving people the choice, keeping others like you from finding a fresh new gun? I see this reply quite a bit, and have to wonder why people make the comment that they'd rather find new guns, when it's not like they couldn't do that either way.. I'm not trying to be argumentative mind you, but I am genuinely baffled by these remarks and hoping for some insight. Edited for grammar

Firstly I'd like to make clear that I'm not defending bungie. The way it has handled the game has been a PR disaster, with endless poorly thought out and needlessly annoying decisions. One of those is the seemingly pointless decision to announce a ghorn nerf, then sell it, then say oh by the way it's going to be very quickly superseded in year 2 cos you can't upgrade it. If I'd just got it yes I would be annoyed. But since TDB (when I stopped playing for a while as I was so disgusted with non-dlc people being locked out of a large part of the content) I have tried to think more about how I can adapt to the nonsense rather than getting angry about it. And for TTK I think it is better that most of what we have is being left so far behind that we have no choice but to find new stuff. If the comparative figures were closer (like they were after TDB) then I'd be as annoyed as then that we were given worse weapons than before, particularly after I'd sharded a load to make way for the "better" new stuff :( Personally I am pretty sure that if we could take year 1 with us I would never find out if there was anything better than FB, LDR and ghorn; I have dozens of HoW guns that I have never had the time to try. So all in all I'm not that stressed about having to find out what my new favourites will be. I could be completely wrong of course ;)

Well, it takes a more willful man than I to continue attempting to adapt to the ever changing structure of destiny. I too took a break after TDB, came back and have tried to continually adapt to some of the most baffling design choices, and maybe I'll be back again after a time.. But I digress. I don't agree, but I appreciate the civil exchange, which is more than I see in most threads. I can also appreciate your sentiment, but personally I'm tired of making concessions, of having to adapt. Adaptation to challenging gameplay is what makes many games fun in my book, but adapting to developer decisions that are consistently anti consumer, and just downright counterintuitive is both frustrating and tiresome and get in the way of my enjoyment at this point. That's just me though. I'm happy for you that you can still see past it, and enjoy what's there. Good luck to you in TTK

And who says there will be a new FB or LDR just because taken weapons will be more powerful DOES NOT mean they will be good it will be HoW PoE weapons all over again the PoE were more powerful but most of them if not all of them were terrible and the somewhat good PoE weapons we already had much better things like FB

They will be better than FB because the damage differential will be much greater than the difference between vanilla and TDB and HoW.

FB at the moment obv. If her mercy was 66% harder hitting (which is what appears to be the difference between TTK and now from the twitch stream) then I would use her mercy. How about you?

The differential was not big enough to make HoW better enough despite being less good per se. I said that earlier.

I think you should re-read the posts. Your tone is aggressive and dismissive. Mine is not. That makes you a bit of a dick as you have said NOTHING which takes the debate further. All you have said is you want to keep the current weapons even if they are less powerful than the new ones.
