So last night a friend and I were going to dive into a level 34 PoE, and as per usual we go LFG to get a third Guardian to help us.
For anonymity's sake we're going to call this guy "SuperScrub". SuperScrub replied saying he was, and I quote; "Highly skilled, all exotics, maxed Gally."
Naturally my friend invites him and we get on our way. The problems start here.
He joins and he's a 33 Warlock. No problem, my friend is 33 and I'm 34, no issues here. Skill is key.
When my friend and I are jumping around, blasting the heck out of Vex and this guy is just standing in a corner of the room, not doing anything. Of course, he dies. We both then get messages from this guy. Weird, right? It gets better. He's typed up some long ass message basically saying "Join my clan PLS IT'S SO GOOD."
My friend is the founder of his clan, and I the admin of mine, so we kindly decline this and keep playing.
Only he doesn't do anything. Every room, he just stands still, dies, pops his Fireborn, and dies again. The epitome of skill.
Through much pain and suffering, my friend and I manage to get to the end, punch Gulrot in his ganky face and get praised by Variks. The dude of course is magically active now, as the sweet prospect of rewards is dangled in front of him. My friend and I sail down to the bottom and wait.
The second he touches down, we both wave, and I kick him.
I don't reward Leeches.
TL;DR : SuperrScrub LFG leech got booted at Treasure Room for leeching.

You so meen
-
Lol. I once carried 2 34s through PoE 32
as a 33
-
Should've just booted him after round 1 rather than 2 man it just for the pleasure of booting him. Or better, say get to work or gtfo. He didn't deserve a reward, but you didn't have to go about it this way.
-
I hate leeches too....
-
Good good
-
I agree, I hate it when people like that get the best loot, but that must have been devastating

#noragrets
-
no ragrets.
-
All you did was prove you are an even bigger douche than him. Good job.

For every story like this there's one like mine: Me and 2 others get together through lfg for skolas. Get to skolas stage and 3rd guy has to jet. Leader lfgs and finds 3rd. On 2nd attempt we get the kills - my first after a handful of tries or so. I'm pumped and start looking at my inventory (no idea why). Next thing i know, leader is telling the new guy to wait. Dont open chest, etc. I get back to screen and panic, still up top in airlock. As i just start to descend, the chest is open and timer starts. I panic to 10 ....and splat on the ground. ....still dont have my shader, emblem, etc. Haha

Reply for later

I don't feel bad one bit for the guy that got booted, serves him right.
-
I Booted a guy once at the end of Poe. Except this guy was awesome and did a lot of the work. I'm just a sick -blam!-er.
-
Why didn't you kick him when he started that crap?

at least you let him see the treasure room... thats more than i would have done, after near screaming at him and wasting his time intentionally wiping again and again every time he died and blaming him for ever single one of those wipes and then said something like "you are the stupidest person i've ever seen, no points for you and may god have mercy on your soul", i would have kicked him before the boss if he did not leave of his own free will. yes im a horrible person. i know this.

Harsh but effective
-
Good on ya! I would of done the same
-
So evil. I'm impressed.

Faith in destiny community restored

I'd understand if Quodron, even Sepiks Reborn, but Gulrot was too easy this week. Then again, maybe should've dropped him after the initial round...

The joke's kind of on you for dragging his useless ass through 5 levels of tedium.
