Before anyone gets all salty and abuses me in the comments, have a good read.
So last night a friend and I were going to dive into a level 34 PoE, and as per usual we go LFG to get a third Guardian to help us.
For anonymity's sake we're going to call this guy "SuperScrub". SuperScrub replied saying he was, and I quote; "Highly skilled, all exotics, maxed Gally."
Naturally my friend invites him and we get on our way. The problems start here.
He joins and he's a 33 Warlock. No problem, my friend is 33 and I'm 34, no issues here. Skill is key.
When my friend and I are jumping around, blasting the heck out of Vex and this guy is just standing in a corner of the room, not doing anything. Of course, he dies. We both then get messages from this guy. Weird, right? It gets better. He's typed up some long ass message basically saying "Join my clan PLS IT'S SO GOOD."
My friend is the founder of his clan, and I the admin of mine, so we kindly decline this and keep playing.
Only he doesn't do anything. Every room, he just stands still, dies, pops his Fireborn, and dies again. The epitome of skill.
Through much pain and suffering, my friend and I manage to get to the end, punch Gulrot in his ganky face and get praised by Variks. The dude of course is magically active now, as the sweet prospect of rewards is dangled in front of him. My friend and I sail down to the bottom and wait.
The second he touches down, we both wave, and I kick him.
I don't reward Leeches.
TL;DR : SuperrScrub LFG leech got booted at Treasure Room for leeching.

Would be a better idea to kick him in round 2 or such and get a player in there. Would've saved a lot of time
-
He deserved it, what did he say after butt kicking?
-
He deserved it
-
I think what you did was great. Whoever superscrub was deserved that.

Edited by Old Man Lawlor: 8/21/2015 11:10:17 AMYou average 33 deaths per raid. The "epitome of skill". And before you say anything on my deaths, I help 'noobs' do raids seeing as i have everything else done. I volunteer as sword bearer daily, and helping any level players it sometimes takes then five or six attempts to not die.
-
Would have booted him way before the final round if all he did was sit there and die...
-
I'm usually a forgiving person, but I would have booted him the very second the door to the treasure room opened. No warning, no waving. If you join a team to do Poe - then do the work to get the rewards and not sit around typing 'spam' messages or hunker in a corner.
-
Good on you...I wish I could kick those guys in Dragon strikes that obviously alter their controller to keep their toon moving. It really bothers me to get all the kills and those guys get the damn rewards...
-
I'm glad someone had the nuts to actually play the whole way through and then boot him. Many players including myself would have found another person or just given up
-
Don't read kids! Reading bad!
-
why not boot earlier and get someone else in?
-
hope Karma fuks you in the ass
-
i died of laughter! i would of done the same thing XD
-
Well done, no work is no rewards
-
What would really be a kick in the nuts for you is if he got the elder cipher.
-
Top keks.
-
lol sounds like people on this post are butthurt. I think thats awesome xD. he deserved it idc what anyone says i would of done the same
-
Well played. They had it coming.
-
Whilst I don't blame you for kicking him, doing it at the end like that was just an ass move. Why waste everyones time like that-both yours and his, should have booted him around the second or third round and saved everyone the hastle.
-
I hated people who used to do that on Strikes. My main issue is what the point of telling us about this was. It doesn't affect our game, we don't know the name of the anon player to put him on a caution list for future dedicated Guardians and you got through it so it doesn't even bare thinking about after this. It's like you wanted other Guardians to draw sides. It's because of that reason I'm going to take a perch on this fence over here.
-
If you didnt like the way he was playing you shoulda kicked him earlier. Youre a douche
-
I'd have done the same and laughed in his face about it. Maybe next time he won't be a useless waste of a fireteam slot
-
You're the scrub.
-
I think that was the wrong thing to do.

This is why matchmaking is bad, i was doing dragon strikes the other day, 4 times in a row, we all spawn, i jump on my sparrow and go, devils lair, i get to the bit with 3 waves of enemies and start killing stuff, im on my own, so i though -blam!- this, drove back, they are both sitting at the start killing knights... really... 4 times in a row i had people like this, left every one of them, then got in a game with 2 people, both on the same page as me and just want it done, smashed through them in 5/10 minites a strike.
-
Haha yes nice one, I would of done the same thing -blam!-ing scrubs !
