My favorite old school snipers I've held onto are:
Longbow with rodeo, field scout, and firefly
Broken truth-lr1 with unflinching, field scout, and firefly.
Ldr with unflinching, send it, and firefly

Thanks. I didn't realize what I had until a couple months ago when I started getting heavy into PvP. Ascended the longbow for trials, need to go ahead and ascend the other two now since I have like 75 about to be useless etheric lights.

I had a final round LDR before HOW dropped but deleted it for vault space and it was such a mistake; not for the vault round but because of it's high impact. I prefer firefly anyways

I miss-typed above. That broken truth has unflinching field scout/perfect balance, and final round. (On my lock) It's literally the only final round sniper I've ever received/rolled. I can't say that I've ever used the final round except on accident since I usually use the field scout and have 6 in the mag.

When I first got up to level and started doing nightfalls, I couldn't get an exotic to drop for the life of me. Just kept dropping legendary snipers over and over. I was pissed at the time and just stuck them in the vault. After a while I realized the wealth of sniper goodness I had been blessed with. Pure luck. Just for fun, I put them on my characters today for all to see.

Funny how back then all we wanted was exotics. Now all we want is the old legendaries we can't get.
