LDR or Longbow Synthesis.. Relics of the past.
Sorry if the title is at all misleading, but this is not a compare/contrast post. I am on the hunt. For this week I will be farming Vanguard Roc strikes for one of these two beauties. These relics must be found. Wish me luck. I will report with my findings.

I will be doing all eris quests as well. I hear the chances are good.
For good ole throwbacks go look at my characters weapons( I find the [b]tfwpky [/b]very interesting.. think it means "the fall will probably kill you"). Also on that note do you know if you have mulligan on an old rocket launcher you can get rockets back as long as the rocket doesnt directly hit the enemy! So shoot into a crowd of people in the crucible at their feet and bam you get your rocket back :D

P.S. I do have a Longbow Synthesis with Shortgaze, Performance bonus, Armor piercing, and Mulligan.

[EDIT: Since we are talking about oldies i have a red hand with Life support as a perk... But it doesnt work anyone else have this perk on anything?]

Good luck, report in what you get, I have and love my LDR, but the few Longbows I got I never kept do to low vault space, I regret not keeping one

My Longbow is my favorite PvP sniper! I have had them all (yes even the Supremacy) and it's definitely the best around- IMO.

Yeah in my opinion the LDR is one of the best snipers in the game pve and pvp. But my opinion might be skewered because I have a solar LDR with ambush scope, final round, field scout and perfect balance. Should be on my warlock.

Why would anyone grind boring roc strikes in hopes of a nearly impossible drop? Ttk and new weapons are out soon. Whatever floats your goat I suppose.

6 RepliesRoc and Tiger reward screens only drop armor engrams. I tried for an Up for Anything. The only weapon engrams that drop are from enemies which are HoW engrams. Sorry mate.
