HOW MANY TIMES ARE PEOPLE GOING TO SAY CATHOLIC AND CHRISTIANS ARE DIFFERENT? CATHOLICISM IS A BRANCH OF CHRISTIANITY.

Well they if you're Catholic you're Christian. If you're Christian you might not be Catholic. That said, if Catholicism gets its own option than so should Baptists, Protestants, jahovas witnesses, seven day Adventists, ect
-
I'm a Christian, not a Catholic. To say that they're the same is to say that the ordinances enforced by the Catholic Church are to be maintained by every individual who claims to be Christian. However, none of their acts are necessary or biblically specified. They're not the same; hence, the name.

I an Christian but not catholic, so I wouldn't say catholic. If you say this you're probably catholic, because other Christian branches are very different from it. Most interpret the bible how it is, while Catholics make up a bunch of stuff in the bible.

I have no idea what started all that either.
