I think you guys definately need to exploit proof the new raid better. And maybe even go back and fix some of the exploits in the other 2. I got destiny late in the game a few weeks ago. (Absolutely love it by the way) and was so excited to finally be leveled enough to raid with a couple friends and randoms found on lfg. I haven't been able to do either raid without some bullshit wipe exploit or some way of achieving it without actually putting in the work because they are so easy and well known now, it's the default method for any group found on lfg. Half the players don't even know how to do it the intended way. Raids, which should be an amazing test of skill, endurance and teamwork are reduced to another check on the to do list for the week, making them more of a mundane grind.
