If anything the people who bough it earned it more than people who got it as a drop and here's why...
People you had it drop got it for free. The ones who didnt (and most likely have played all of the activities as the ones who "earned" theirs) had to put in all the work [u][b]AND[/b][/u] pay for it.

How? According to some people I "earned" my ghorn. But according to others I still did. Because I bought from Xur and got from RNG.
