Bungie says that playing with the same old weapons (legendaries) into year two is boring.
Well why are the exotics still relevant then?
EDIT FOR THE SLOW FOLKS: I was simply pointing out Bunglevision's flawed logic on legendaries. If their main point for not ascending legendaries in TTK is that they think that playing with the same weapon for ten years is boring, why ascend exotics.
You get the point right? Even you slow guys?
-
Isnt that suppose to be our choice if its boring or not?
-
I'm all about getting new gear but I'm gonna keep my year 1's if I wanna use them in the old raids, or for fun.
-
Exotics are momentous of out past triumphs. Let's be honest, if you could you would equip all exotics in all slots. Legendaries are second best, they have no place in year two.
-
I'm ready to dismantle all year 1 weapons I want to keep them but if people want them obsolete ten lets all get rid of every gun.
-
Honestly if we had more or even infinite vault space I'd be ok with this, I know this post is sarcasm and all but for real I wouldn't mind.
-
I haven't been paying attention to any of the news. Been busy with work and whatnot. So are they capping year one legendaries at 365 or are they removing the ablity to ascend them entirely. I still have a ton of shit that needs to be upgraded. I just haven't had the time to track down all the Etheric light to do it.
-
Bungie already said that year 1 exotic weapons will ascend to TTK levels. So not happening.
-
Never happening.
-
Your logic is flawed and invalid
-
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm no
-
Your point makes sense. I do think their logic is flawed, and I do think everything should always be able to be ascended.
-
*walks out of room*
-
Tbh if that was the case I'd stop playing Destiny, would be slightly annoyed at all my time grinding but eh games tend to do things like this if you stick with them long enough
-
Hell no. You're out of your damn mind. I'd swear at you but I got a warning yesterday from the forum ninjas.
-
Never go full retard!
-
SCRUB !
-
-
You obviously were dropped as a baby.
-
-
Why even grind? Just play through the content once and if you clear it all then you're done with the game. That's the mentality that not allowing us to move our favorite gear forward brings.
-
The reason being is that they have special perks that aren't associated with instances, such as raids, they were designed to be collected and, as such, are going to be moved on along with the coming of TTK.
