Literally no one. It means nothing. It's a title. Get over yourself and stop thinking you deserve things more than other people.
(I'm a day one player and it means nothing to me.)
Edit: You're not entitled to free items just because you bought the game before other people. So stop making petitions galore for them. Grow up.
Edit 2: By year 1 I mean "vets" as they call themselves. Also known as the people who think they're entitled to free stuff.
Edit 3: Most Year 1 Guardians don't know how to read edits.
Edit 4: They're still figuring out how to read, maybe one day.
Edit 5: Nearly 400 replies of pure salt. I feel like the Dead Sea.
Edit 6: Nearing 500 replies. Titans had to put up a new wall around the Dead Sea to contain all the salt water.
Edit 7: At 700 replies the Dead Sea salt levels are beginning to drop. Several life forms with the inability to read have been found in the Sea. The Titans have decreased the amount of control on the Sea.
Edit 8: 800 replies and Guardians still haven't read the tags. What a sad time it is.
Edit 9: At 950 replies the salt is beginning to corrupt the hearts of those who reply. Some keep the light strong in themselves and are able to resist it. However, others have fallen victim to it. Those who have fallen now search for anything to try and be correct. The Titans have now put the city on lockdown. More information later on.
Edit 10: This post has been necrobump'd. The Salt has nearly taken control over everyone, fight back, Guardians.

Inb4 500 edits to tease people

Think of it as this. The game was pretty flawed early on, players who bought the game early on and played through year 1 essentially supported the game even though it was flawed. Shouldn't that support be repaid in some form? Obviously it's not 100% required but it would be a nice gesture for the fans that supported the game all the way.
-
Why should they?
-
How does the salt taste?
-
Your a Christmas noob ~TehMindBlaster

OP is a liar. They unlocked the Ship Rite achievment on November 12th, not on day 1, proving that they have no right to call themselves day 1.
-
"I feel like the Dead Sea" Hahaha Gold
-
I somewhat agree, being day one doesn't really matter to me. I feel as though if you have been playing the game for over 4-5 months your skill level shouldn't be much worse than any day one. Shoot, I know people who had the game since February and are extremely good. In my book, it holds no standing. Good post.
-
Do better.
-
But you made a topic about it. Since you care I'll let you know I'm a day 1 vet too. You mad?
-
You care enough to write a post about it.... Idiots, idoits everywhere...
-
I care.
-
Whoops. Forgot that just because you have an opinion, the entire destiny community agrees with you. So you know why I think day one players matter, destiny listens to feedback. Who do you think caused the game to move the direction it's moving, where its being made better? And as someone else said, I'll take a day one player into an activity over anyone else.
-
You arent day 1. Youre December. A christmas noob. You think your opinion matters?
-
Your Mom cared that I am a day one vet.
-
But what about my free stuff?.....like the emblem Bungie gave us? Oh wait
-
Its the need to "be elite" or the best in the forums These forums are battle grounds, constantly having people on top Elitists is just a title and a weapon to attack "newer" players and be better
-
It's just an excuse to cry about the game. Give them what they want. us who don't care will do exactly that; not care.
-
Lol hater
-
" I feel like the Red Sea" 😂 lololol
-
It's really not even a title, salty scrub
-
You cared enough to make a thread about it..
-
Amen.
-
I'd like to meet this Mr. No One... He Asian?

Day 1 here. Help out everyone rank 1-34. That being said there is a big difference most the time from a day 1 to say a Christmas noob when it comes to stuff like the vog.
