IB is one of those guns that is truly special, and it's one of the few guns I truly coveted. IB and Thorn...I loved it when I diddnt have it, then I got it, and I still love it, and I don't really PVP much at all. Its just a good HC. I'm interested to see how the stacking DOT will play out in PVE, I think it will be good indeed. Ghorn...I don't have it, and see it as a " nice to have" weapon but not required. I really only run VoG PUGs so Ghorn exclusion isn't really an issue for me. The biggest question is how these new weapons will compare. Why do the current weapons need to be pared down if the new weapons are going to be so good? If these new weapons are "niche" weapons and not well balanced then vault space will most certainly become a bigger issue than it currently is. I rock not ascended legendaries for NF and VoG because they are so well made and don't think PoE is compelling enough to warrant LFG to get Etheric Light. My limited play time means I'm playing VoG instead of PoE. I do just fine with my 300 FB and VoC...and I just got a pratorean foil (finally!)...ho ho ho. Anyway, we shall see how these new weapons compare. Maybe we can sacrifice new stuff to upgrade our old raid gear? A man can dream right?
