Most Impressive/Unique Curios You Own

SHOW AND TELL I thought I'd make a good post based on some of the oddities strewn about my house. Curio #1: Pictured above are some of my rarest coins in my collection. More notable are the two 1921 Silver Dollars [pictured top-right]. Curio #2: Link to Imgur image Most of my mineral and fossil collection. Ranges from chunks of quartz and amethyst to pieces of dinosaur bone. And that fossilized fish, I've taken to naming Soffish. Curio #3: Link to Imgur album A gas mask and military jacket, both I'm assuming from around the Vietnam/Korean wars. Looking at the patches of the jacket, I'm assuming that it is an Air Force jacket, maybe a paratrooper's since one has a parachute-looking design. The gas mask still functions in its simple state and design. Lenses are in good condition as is everything else. Curio #4: Link to Imgur image It's not super amazing or anything, but this is the junker violin I'm using. It's still not bad for a rental. Going to be getting an intermediate model eventually, looking into a $1,000-1,500 price range. Curio #5: Link to Imgur image My old limited edition Luke Skywalker lightsaber. Best thing I've ever obtained as a kid. Great for late-night bonfires. Curio #6: Link to Imgur album A Batman comic from the December of 1990. I don't usually collect comics, but when I saw Scarecrow on the cover of this issue, I couldn't resist. Brings back the essence of nostalgia. Curio #7: Link to Imgur album An addition of my collection, showing coins from outside of the US [Canada, Mexico, Panama, Argentina, South Africa, Japan] along with three of my newer but rare US pennies. I will update with more curios. In the meantime, please feel free to add on to the thread with your own collections or pieces. Please try to provide pictures of your collection or piece. You don't have to, but it helps the motive of the thread. Your chosen item(s) don't have to be old or something you'd see someone bring in on Pawn Stars, as long as they're unique in a way.

 • Got a 1930's Walther Sports-model 5. It's basically a .22 LR Mauser. It was one of the few guns Germany could produce after WWI because it was considered a sporting and target rifle. Some were used pre-WWII to train to German army. Mine wasn't, so it only worth about $700 last time I checked.
