Damn straight I did. The raid was long enough as it was back In the day with all the bugs and glitches. Anything that helped it go faster was welcomed.
People need to remember the level cap was 30 at the time and most people doing the hard raid were still 27,28 and forever 29.

You could get all the VoG armor on normal except for the helmet which you had to get on hardmode. This means if you didnt have an exotic helmet, you were going into VoG hard as a 29 or lower so of course people would cheese if they're under level

I guess newer player should use Skolas as a current day equivalent. Right now, not eveyone can get thru level 35 PoE without good team work. Some day we will be level 35+ and will be able to solo Skolas.
