Master Chief vs. Sunsinger
MC will look like a bitch after that.

Why? Burn doesn't affect because armor and he he uses self res once, gets -blam!- right when he stands up. And he is 101% dead.
-
You know those grenades are as hot as the surface of the sun? It wouldn't just burn it, it would vaporize chiefs armor, and him inside of it. Your sad fanboy logic has failed you once again.
-
But those grenades don't burn other guardians instantly so use logic next time

Edited by Vilhelmus II: 8/7/2015 10:02:44 PMPretty sure Chief would break him, when he self-resurrects, Chief would sigh. And then break him again.
-
Nope, he'd get destroyed by sunsinger firebolts. And no, they're not avoidable. Face the fact that Master Chief is nothing without a gun.
-
Master chief is the weapon, the gun is his tool. Read the goddam canon!
-
Chief is canonically fast enough to dodge Motherfvcking BULLETS

Edited by Vilhelmus II: 8/7/2015 11:00:42 PMPerhaps you should understand the statistics before you come up with such an insipid statement, eh? The only way to compare the two is lore-wise. Gameplay leaves too many holes, and errors because of how different the two games are. It also doesn't logically make sense, and doesn't explain things. However, I can go either way, logically, or illogically. So how do you want to do this? Lore, or gameplay?
-
Honestly either way the guardians will win. If the chief is stronger in the lore than when players are controlling him in battle, then imagine how powerful guardians would be in the lore. Guardians, (as i've stated multiple times) are capable of much more destruction than any spartan in-game, so in the lore, guardians must be able to do things that basically only demigods can. Guardians > Spartans
-
Look, I've played every Halo except for 5, because it's not out. Master Chief needs to pick up abilities and grenades to use them, Guardians don't. Master Chief has no actual abilities other than his strength and reaction time, but those don't come into play in the game much at all and wouldn't assist him much against a Guardian. Without his armor and weapons, he surmounts to nothing because those can be stripped away. As for a Guardian, the Light isn't removable, they don't need weapons to be strong because they'll always have their abilities.
-
So gameplay then? Throwing logic out the door. The highest attainable rank in Halo 2 is level 50, 16 ranks above that of the guardians(currently). Master Chiefs newest game has a max rank of 130. 96 ranks above the highest current level in Destiny. See where I'm going with this? Now, if you want to talk lore... Well I don't see how any guardians is going to hit chief with anything and do significant damage. Statistics: -6 times faster reflexes than an Olympic athlete -Able to run maximum of 80 MPH -Able to lift warthogs, with ease -Shielding can withstand 18 rounds fired from a shotgun, at lethal range -Can withstand a military grade missile -Trained since 6 years of age in every combat, and tactic -Better aim and eyesight than any human could hope to have -Battle hardened -Master tactician -Incredible intelligence -Armour is immune to heat, and cold -Shielding recharges quickly -HUD allows pinpoint accuracy for enemy movement -Armour compatible with all enemy equipment -Master with every weapon, and weapon type known to man -Labeled "Demon" by those who fear him -Responsible for the destruction of countless covenant vessels, and hundreds of thousands of covenant -Strong enough to punch holes in armoured vehicles -Evolved by the Librarian to be the best humanity could be -Immune to the composer -Luck What was that about a solar grenade? He's too damn fast to be hit by one, even if he was it wouldn't even damage his shielding, and he doesn't need a weapon. He is a weapon. He could punch a hole through an Exo, throw a Titan hard enough to shatter every bone in his body, take a nova bomb and eat it... He is the embodiment of living weapon.

Edited by TheMasterDB8er: 8/8/2015 8:29:01 PMI hope you know these feats are only impressive in comparison to a human soldier. They aren't human, guardians are capable of anything a spartan can do, but are much stronger, and faster. Chief has his organic muscles and tissues slowing him down, guardians don't. They can literally react instantly to things because they don't have organic tissue to slow them down, so chief is going to have to step it up to even compare. I've seen multiple people say chief can run 60-80 mph, okay, what does that have to do with a battle? Guardians can teleport, and all have magic lift abilities, so chief is at a disadvantage in speed as well as strength. And yknow, a guardian could destroy all the covenants ships without a sweat, literally, because they are war machines created to destroy any opposition to the traveler, they don't need sleep, food, water, or anything really. In an up close battle, your poor little chief wouldn't stand a chance, a titan is guaranteed multiple times as strong as a spartan, so if chief got even close to one, he would get disintegrated in seconds. Same goes with warlocks, they'd slap chief into cinders without a thought. A hunter would probably have to take him out with arc blade or golden gun though. Oh and btw, guardians don't have bones, we're basically light filled armor, so no matter what chief did to them, they'd come back and disintegrate him. If chief opposes the guardians, he would meet his inevitable doom. You can't win against the guardians with soldiers as weak and simple as the spartans. Guardians > Spartans
-
Congrats, you can make things up and pretend they're fact. I truly hope you don't ever get into a serious argument.
-
Too bad none of this comes into play. Guardian wins, easily.
-
Edited by Vilhelmus II: 8/8/2015 6:54:29 PMYou already lost this argument the moment you couldn't form a valid rebuttal. We're done here.
-
You lost this argument the moment you thought a spartan could kill a guardian. Ignorant fanboy hahahaha
-
Wow, three replies to me? Hell I wasn't even here to debate you, and you continued to reply to every post I make. Did I rustle your panties Desticle? I think I've got a bucket full of tears right now.
-
No, from afar, chief would get roasted by grenades. Up close, he would get disintegrated. He can't win against a guardian.
-
His shields are flame resistant, mate. And how do you expect the Warlock to even hit him?
-
I'm pretty sure "flame resistant" isn't strong enough to counter the heat of the Sun.
-
Edited by Vilhelmus II: 8/7/2015 11:29:56 PMLightning strikes at four times hotter than the surface of the sun. Fusion grenades last a split second. People have survived lightning strikes. There's even a record for it. Lore wise, they wouldn't even effect his shielding.
-
*Firebolts If it was Fusion Grenades the warlock was using, it'd be even worse.
-
Doesn't change the facts. Master Chief's armour wouldn't be effected by a lightning strike. Fusion grenade, arc bolt grenade, both would annoy him. You keep arguing, but your argument has no basis, no validity. They strike with the heat of the sun's surface, however they last for seconds, less than. They aren't there long enough to do anything. It's like you aren't trying. Maybe you aren't, come to think of it.
-
Well, they bolt instantly at chief, so it's impossible to dodge them if they get close enough. You think his "improved reflexes" would allow him to dodge them, but no, they bolt faster than the blink of an eye. And seriously, you idiots believe his armor can withstand the heat of the sun burning him? Wow, you're desperate fanboy stupidity has really shown here bud. Chief < Guardians
