That still won't stop this community.. Look at all the various threads on this very "issue" of Year One gear becoming obsolete the day The Taken King drops - even after Cozmo posted to hold off and that more information is incoming. You would think people would have the common sense to wait and hear from Bungie themselves regardless of the source of the news. While it's true that Game Informer (GI) spent time with Bungie regarding the Taken King, GI has only scratched the surface and even they don't have the full details on how the transition from the Base game / Dark Below / Wolves to TTK will actually work. Only Bungie can do this..
