Phones and games are different.
Games books and movies are similar.
Your comparison for phones sucked.
Phones and vehicles go together better.
I'll continue to upgrade my phone for free when it comes by.
I'll also carrying everything over from my old phone to, without anything being rendered useless and unobtainable.

As in examples of the topic at hand. I use a vehicle to get from point a to b. I use a phone to contact people. I use both as a tool, not entertainment.
