You need to get to light level 32, and then you can run the weekly heroic on level 32 and get 9. You can also do PoE level 28 and they will drop from the two small chests. You've been playing the game for 6 hours, relax and enjoy it. Play the story through because that will get you close to level 20. Save up your vanguard marks and buy vanguard gear. You can also play crucible and save those marks to buy more gear. Those gear sets will get you to level 32, and then you can do end game content to try and get exotics.
