Why is that a bad thing? Sorry, but I like the thought of using new weapons. If they come out with weapons better than what's the gold standard now, why is that a bad thing?

Who said bad? Just pointing out facts.

So the guns and gear you had in the first month are the same items you intended on carrying thru the whole duration?
-
Not everyone had the opportunity to experience those weaps the first month, plus while I don't intend to try to keep a specific legendary forever, I believe there should be options to keep weaps relevant. It is future sci fi. Whether it should be as easy to ascend them is a different consideration. Also, should only legendary raid weaps fall into that category? Personally I'm only really concerned about armor relevancy over time as it allows for greater individuality and expression in character look. Prior to ascension too many folks looked the same...
-
Why not? I earned them not xurned them. That's true for every legendary weapon and gear. The only items ascended will be xurned guns not earned. See the difference.
-
Who said anything about "Xurning"? I'm stating that as games grow, so should the weaponry. Not sure of the point you're trying to make
-
My point is legendaries are earned and cannot be upgraded. Xur weapons, exotics can be upgraded but it cost strange coins which most of us have over 500....
-
So you're an earn or Xurn guy >_> ew...
-
Both ;)
-
Lol as long as you don't hate people that apparently Xurned it and didn't earn it through complete luck :/ when you actually DID earn the Xur exotics as you knew what you'd get and you collected strange coins to purchase said exotic item.
