Bungie also said that they are working on a new complicated system to ascend your gear for year 2. Key word "complicated," it may not be as easy as HoW to ascend gear anymore.

I can't remember where they said, but I know they said they would give us a complicated way of ascending gear... I'm going to try and find it again.
