When you put yourself out there, you know what your susceptible to. It doesn't matter if your a girl or guy gamer. This shouldn't even be made a big deal. There will always be ppl out there like that. So instead of throwing a pity party why not just brush it off and sweep it under the rug. Who cares?!

Incorrect. When you put yourself out there you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. PERIOD. Anything else is unwarranted and immature. And if someone behaves in an unwarranted, immature, and childish fashion, then they need to be called on it until they see the errors of their ways and grow up.

You should probably use your time to beat Skolas in PoE.
-
Typical Ad hominem response... But I will respond anyway. I'm nearly 50 years old, and I dislike seeing ill mannered, immature, juvenile boys and young men make chauvinistic and hateful comments to others and not get called on it. How is it acceptable to treat Others without respect and dignity? That position is simply not defensible. If they wish to act like children, they can be treated like children; want to be treated like an adult, act like one. With regard to your Skolas comment: I have a teen age daughter who likes video games, and I'm much more concerned with how she is treated enjoying a pastime than completing a meaningless milestone. As a father do you really think I will tolerate someone demeaning, belittling, or THREATENING TO -blam!- HER FOR PLAYING A GAME SHE LIKES? WOULD YOU LIKE TO ARGUE THE POSITION THAT I, OR SHE, SHOULD JUST ACCEPT THOSE COMMENTS AND JUST SWEEP THEM UNDER THE RUG? Go ahead, tell me it's okay.
-
It's okay.
-
And we've reached the end of our discussion as you've only your ego to fall back on to.
-
im not sure but i hope you are not just focusing on younger people ... i get ill mannered comments from people older then you in real life .. not just in games ... weirdly the bad comments from the older generation are more often said in real life though
-
Not at all immaturity knows no age.
-
glad to hear :) there's so much hate for different uncontrollable things already no need to add more :) take care dude
-
It's not a pity party.
-
This may just be a game, but the mentality you just showed would have women in the kitchen, Africans as slaves and gays in the closet if everyone thought that they couldn't change anything and ignored it.
-
Why would anyone want an african as a slave? They're lazy and prone to random violent outbursts. Also, ebola.
-
And the arrogance you just showed proves what?
-
Not sure you understand the definition of arrogance.
-
I'm not to sure you understand the proper form of literature. So before you try and use some bs semantics get a bachelors in language and verbal studies. Thanks. K. Bye

Was funny how much you butchered that post.
-
Your English is horrible kid. So I'll leave you with this, Te ipsum!
-
Your punctuation, grammar and spelling have been consistently shitty in all of these posts.

Edited by rdTrayJR: 7/31/2015 2:23:28 AMDon't try to compare all of those. That's not s good argument.
-
Not comparable in terms of severity, but quite clearly makes the point that ignoring something and hoping it goes away isn't a good thing.
-
Then why does Bungie promote an exclusionary clan? Again I don't excuse the derogatory comments and harassment but people are going to resent their stance. Ask yourself this: what if someone made a male equivalent to the DoD? Do you really think that clan would be allowed to last very long? Let alone get the free advertising from Bungie.
-
The thing is that the Dames clan wouldn't need to exist if there was equality in the community. It's like asking why are there exclusionary scholarships to black people. It's a place where they can talk without being harassed. If sexism wasn't a problem then Bungie wouldn't be promoting the group.
-
Don't compare women and black people. Those ARE NOT remotely comparable. Obviously you feel how you do so be it. Disenfranchising one group to make another feel better is hardly progress though.
-
I'll compare them if they're comparable, which they are; two groups that have been discriminated against because of what they were born as.
-
You are an idiot then for that comparison.
-
Care to explain why?
