Since when did they remove your ability to get items?
And if you actually used some common sense you would see that its a perfectly fine comparison.
WoW uses Expansions to move the game along rather than little DLC packs
Diablo 3 used an expansion to move the game along rather than little DLC packs.
SWTOR used expansions to move the game along rather than little DLC packs.
Just like every other expansion based game out there that is what they did.
And guess what?
