Solar burn on = everyone who has a Gjallarhorn and doesn't equip it during Nightfall is just slowing down their whole team. For arc burn Fatebringer or Fang of Ir Yut are both better than Necrogarbage.
Sure if you wanna just screw around and waste time, use Necro.
EDIT, I see you don't have Gjallarhorn, now I see why you made this stupid post.

Edited by Misfit Romance: 7/21/2015 11:14:35 PMWho gives a shit abouy the Gally? All it does is pump extra damage into targets because, well, it's an exotic and takes up the slot. As any exotic should.
-
Except you can decimate Omnigoul ( Idk how to spell it ) in under 15 seconds lol
-
So can HoCs. Either way, since the HoC is the "baby gally" once they Nerf the Gally. I think the two are going to brothers.
-
Not really... Wolfpack rounds still do more than hunger, and hunger cannot kill Omnigul as quickly as gally considering the extra rocket clusters don't track
-
Hive disruptor and the few clusterbombs that do hit make up for that lost damage. Somebody has to do the actual math to see how far off they are from each other.
-
Thought hive disruptor only did bonus damage on majors, not ultras
-
HoC is nowhere near the Gjallarhorn. In case you haven't noticed, the clusters from HoC are often avoided/wasted. Gjallarhorn will still be the king vanilla launcher after the patch.
-
I think that after the nerf, the clusterbombs that do hit will do a smidge less damage than the wolfpack rounds. Of course the Gally will always put out the most damage per rocket, but now, instead of it being the best choice for a rocket launcher, it will be classified as a good choice for a heavy. You will be able to choose any other legendary rocket launcher (HoC, HV, the new Suros rocket?) at the cost of a bit less damage but the freeing up of an exotic slot. Something that makes the gally still worthy of its name but not completely over-hyped as it has been until now. Of course, this is just a theory...(A game theory!)(heh, no? ) until the taken king is released and we can test out the difference of the damage output.
-
It's always the noobs that don't have a Gjallarhorn that think HoC is even in the same ballpark for damage output. When you get a Gjallarhorn you'll understand. 1 Gjallarhorn rocket is almost the same as firing 2 HoC rounds in damage output.
-
I didn't say they do the same damage, I know that one Gjallarhorn rocket counts for two. But honestly, It can easily be replaced be something else because they only thing it's good for is bosses and I refuse to carry it around for a whole raid/strike/poe. A Gjallarhorn isn't necessary for any endgame content, so it also isn't for simple things like the nightfall. Dont be a gjallarhorn elitist ,that's why its getting nerfed.

Edited by NegativeCycle: 7/22/2015 3:02:46 PMLOL you can't refuse to carry around what you do not own clown. You don't own one, you have never used one, stop acting like you know what you're talking about. It is by leaps and bounds the most worthy weapon of your exotic slot. But as I said, being that you DON'T have one I wouldn't expect you to understand this.

Edited by Misfit Romance: 7/22/2015 11:06:52 PMJust because my current Microsoft account doesn't own one, doesn't mean i haven't used it and don't actively use it some where else. You're such a noob to think the Gjallarhorn is the best exotic in the game. Keep in mind that I'm not trashing it, I know its great, that should be a fact but what it really comes down to, is that its all just an opinion. You have your opinion and I have mine. Just drop it because the more you call it king, the more god-like status it'll receive and we all know Bungie can't have that, right? I'm sure you have better things to do and so do I l, so let's Just leave it at this.
