Nerfs were just and warranted.
Gjallarhorn is the end all be all to Destiny. It's blatantly OP and once you get it, you're unstoppable. Nothing is a challenge and it breaks the game. Crota, the second [i]raid[/i] in Destiny can be soloed thanks to it by any player who has it.
Thorn was stupid OP, no need for explanation.
Black hammer was the end all be all to snipers. It outclassed everything in PvE. Get over it.
Ice breaker has infinite ammo in PvP, that's mainly why it was nerfed.
Hawkmoon is fine, but I understand why things happen.
Shotguns are the lords of PvP that outclass everything else.
Hand cannons were used 90% of the time.

This change is very welcome by me. It will add [b]variety[/b] to PvP and [b]end[/b] the reign of terror that these weapons cause in the games and on the forum.

They wanted every weapon to have its own use, and for players to like some weapons over others, be it because of their play style, the weapon has a cool name, or whatever their unique reason is. There's always going to be someone complaining about something so I hope from here on out after this 2.0 drops Bungie pays less attention to complaints about weapon balancing and more about other things, like say maybe lag or new game mode ideas.
