Been there, done that. Not very pleasant. I'd rather step on a Lego than a bindie, though. Number one cause of fatalities on Australian lawns.

Now, just imagine that, but millions upon millions hidden in your lawn. Now imagine walking barefoot across them to get to your letterbox. Sure, we could put on some kind of footwear to protect our soft feet from harm, but we like to live life on the edge.
