I'm sure he's a good guy...but its not really about him. Bungie knew no one respects Deej cause he doesn't really play. My guess, they added Cozmo to legitimize the community manager job. Nothing will change. The culture at Bungie hasn't changed. Expect more of the same. Zero appreciation of their current player base, price gouging, unbalanced PVP (Thorn/shotguns), weekly updates that simply advertise TTK (instead of dealing with current issues) and overall under delivering on promises made.
