I have both, and to be honest the difference between graphics is not noticeable to me. The XB1 has a few perks like costing less that PS4 (haven't seen any specials lately), as stated by some, soon to be backwards compatible which having two kids of my own, saving money and keeping games from your previous 360 library is very enticing. I have both because I'm not married and my kids are grown LOL, but I have a PS4 for the exclusives which are pretty good, but I'm just a gamer from way back and enjoy playing the gambit. You can't lose either way but, since you have had a 360 and are thinking of going PS4 make sure you are done with the likes of Halo and Gears. I had heard Gears won't be on the 360, and neither will Halo 5. But either way you can't really lose as long as the one you go with has games you want to play and teach the little one :) Congratulations by the way, your real adventure is about to begin Guardian, so eyes up!
