I suppose in your case the xbox one would make more sense... on a ps4 myself and I also have an x360; but I never had a live gold membership I doubt characters carry over between ms / sony since they are bound to your live / psn accounts afaik the ps4 doesn't really have better graphics than the xbone; the differences are pretty marginal. although if you look at it objectively the ps4 has SLIGHTLY better specs (only in the memmory department though) the only real reason to make a choice between the 2 is title exclusivity... in that department ps4 does have a bit of an edge imo.
