Hawkmoon is NOT average

I find it quite average as far as exotics go. It's not top tier like thorn and tlw and shit, but far from hard light etc. Rng based, kicks quite a bit, deals average damage normally...

It is one of THE BEST weapons. Period.

Yeah. But if you're using an exotic hc, you have better options. So it's one of those "I'll use it but only because I don't care much" guns. Like QBB and patience and time.

Agreed, but they're rubbish for pve generally compared to fatebringer and other elemental primaries.

It used to be better than both until they nerfed hand cannons. Hawkmoon was hit the hardest. Could used to shoot the floor and get a headshot :D

I actually think NLB is the best gun in the game for PVP, it's a one shot primary that spawns you with 12 rounds the murder people with, plus with the reload glitch it can fire just as fast as a normal sniper rifle!
