He lost me when he suggested that the earth was only thousands of years old.
Why are creationists so blind?

We don't know the time span from when god created man to the time he created woman (the time genesis 2 happened) so the earth could well be millions of years old and could sti go with creation.

Weve observed planet formation at various stages at other places in the universe, nothing about the composition of earth is unique, not the elements, not the orbit, the only thing about earth we haven't yet seen elsewhere is life. The formation of planets is 100% known.
