In this episode of 'Suck it Player', Bungie disallows players to rejoin to a match they were in when they got booted to orbit with an error code or had other issues.
Is it really that difficult for you/Bungie to understand that players who do the PoE missions, would actually like to complete them? Not handed wins if they suck, but if there is an issue with the game? I have (and have read here that others have) been booted to orbit with an error code at the end of the Skolas or had a system hard lock, only to miss out on reward and be unable to rejoin the match because it was 'almost over' or whatever the text says.
How hard is it to add a simple YES/NO qualifier to the invite/join match request?
SCENARIO: You are kicked to orbit with and error | have a PS error that kicks to to orbit or out of the game.
Your fireteam member(s) send you an invite to get you back in to the match. The 'system' need only to check ...
• A: was this player previously in this match: Y/N
• B: was this player previously in this match from the beginning of the match: Y/N
• IF A and B=Y, THEN allow player to rejoin math in progress
• IF A or B=N, THEN disallow player to rejoin match in progress
The community is FED UP with your arbitrary rules regarding rejoining 'matches in progress'.
It looks like the ONLY reason that you would disallow players to rejoin and get the rewards they have (often for HOURS) been fighting for, is to pad your stats with increased play-time. You know?! The stats you like to shove in our faces that says 'Look how many hours people are playing Destiny. Our game is SO SO SO awesome, High fives all around!'? Yeah, that one.
So Yep. It really IS that simple.
MAKE. IT. HAPPEN.

Edited by GreenPaladin: 6/24/2015 8:31:49 PMHello there, Players can rejoin after leaving/being booted from PoE. If both remaining players die the 3rd player may join if timed properly. It's not perfect it it's an option.
