No. Why should he apologize? He doesn't run the company and probably has zero say in dlc pricing and special editions.
Maybe he actually thinks $40 is a fair price and maybe he doesn't but either way he can't say anything but "We think its fair".

Either you didn't read the interview or you didn't understand. The problem isn't the $40 edition. The problem is forcing people to buy what they already own to get the bonuses in the other packages.

My point was what is he supposed to say? Those decisions are above his head and unless he wants to lose his job over emotes he better stick to the script. Also, who gives a shit?! They're emotes! Sure it would be fun to get some new ones but they certainly aren't worth everyone getting up in arms about it. Its just a [b][u]little[/u][/b] treat for people who buy the special edition.
