This is not my video, but one i feel needs to be shared across the community. This video is a tribute to a True Guardian in our time. I did not personally know him or play with him but reading about what he did in his time in life and the suffering he went through is an inspirational story.
A victim of Cystic Fibrosis, he dedicated his life, got his PhD to study, understand and try to find relief for the disorder, not only for himself but for countless others and those in the future so they wouldn't have to suffer through what he had to.
Joshua Stokell was a true Guardian. May his light forever burn in all our lives.
Rest in Peace, Guardian. You fought courageously but you're fight is over. Now lets us all fight in your stead.
And to his clan mates in DoD, I salute each and every one of you in Alpha Legion and throughout the entirety of the alliance. You're dedication to each other as a community is without equal. My hat is off to you Guardians.
Edit: It's great to see so many of you stepping up and being the community we all know we are capable of being. Thank you all for rising above the toxic miasma that has settled in throughout these forums.

I hope that in the end, after all, being Guardians, shall have a one last meet. Guardian is a title, that's not just your character name across a silly game. No, it's much more. Guardians develop strong friendships, even romances. As op knows, I lost someone really close to me to cancer not so long ago. And other Guardians also mourned for my loss. Among the many a-holes in the community there are a few bright stars, and that's what this is all about. Best wishes to the family, I hope the Guardian now protects them more than he could in real life. Salute.
