That sucks mate. And the attitude of some of the community members also sucks. But don't let experiences like this reflect on the community as a whole. I didn't play any raids until a few months ago because I was expecting immature buttholes likes this, based on my experience when I first started using chat during Halo3 PVP matches. (Also based on some of the nasty comments I've read in these forums.) But I levelled as far as I could after TDB, and decided to try playing Crota's End to get the armor and reach the level cap. I found a match using LFG, and braced myself.... And was pleasantly surprised. And in my experience since, the majority of the community seem to be great people. I myself have wondered about the way people behave in the forums, and the best I can figure is that the small percentage of nasty and immature community members are unfortunately also some of the most vocal. So don't let this unfortunate incident ruin the game and the community for you, or your brother. I recommend friending anyone you have fun playing with, it makes it easier to find people to play with, knowing they won't wreck the experience for you. Please feel free to add me if you like (your brother too). My mate and I are always happy to play with anyone, regardless of age, skill or experience, and help them through if necessary. As long as they are there to have a good time and get along.
