What does Xbox One Backwards Compatibility mean for destiny?
I'm looking to upgrade from 360 to xbox one around Christmas time. If I plug in my 360 version of destiny do I play on the Xbox one servers or the 360 servers? I know there was a way to upgrade your version to next gen, but it was only for digital download and I have the disc. (Which btw is really dumb, I don't need a new disc I'd gladly upgrade to the digital version instead if I could).

8 RepliesAll it does is when you put your 360 disk into the Xbox One, it gives you a download code for the Xbox One version of the code in the Xbox Marketplace (for free of course). So you will be upgrading to Xbox one servers, and will no longer be on 360 servers.
