So this guy was a complete asshole to my little brother...
JUST NOW MY BROTHER BEAT SKOLAS AGAIN-AND GOT REWARDS THIS TIME!
My 11 year old brother came to me in tears just now. He had just beaten Skolas with two other guys and IMMEDIATELY got kicked right after Skolas went down. Then, this guy invited his friend to get the rewards, and started being a complete dick to my little brother for no reason. My brother said they called him "really mean names," and I frankly don't want to think about what that could mean.
Why do people do this? I don't understand. I don't care if it's the Internet and people can be dickheads over anonymity, this is horrible. My brother shouldn't come to me crying because of some dickhead loser kicking him from the treasure room.

Edit 2: bro just told me he was kicked right after Skolas went down, so he didn't even get the drops. I had gotten that part wrong, but I edited it now
Edit 3: Someone researched this guy and apparently he's the Xbox Live version of KirmitTHEFrog, he kicks everyone and invites his friends after completing activities. I can't post gamertags, but if you could do me the favor of finding my bro's Skolas match from earlier today and report that guy, it'd be great
Edit 4: I can't believe this community. The kid who glitched and got his characters deleted got nothing but support, yet my brother who beat Skolas, got kicked AND cursed at by adults is being told he shouldn't have been doing that. -blam!-ing really guys? I'm done with this site. Yeah, I should've monitored it better, I'm doing that from now on, but seriously?! I doubt many of you have kids or younger siblings. Smh

Omfg you people need to stop talking about how he's 11 and shouldn't be playing the game. Does he look like he plays grand theft auto? No the kid plays destiny, for fun like all of us do. In case you hadn't noticed beating skolas drops some really nice stuff to help a character to out. So stop bragging and being a bunch of retards to a little kid who was a victim to grown up assholes. See how you'd like it if you got kicked going 8-0 on trails of Osiris ya jerks.

2 RepliesI'm sorry to say but ur little brother probably shouldn't be playing destiny if he's crying over getting booted. The internet is a rough place sadly and if u can't handle people being jerks u need to stay away from going onto multiplayer games/party chat. I'm not saying that it was in any way fine for that to happen and they should be rightfully punished for being jerks. I hope ur brother can find some nice people to take him through the fight again.

11 RepliesSounds like lies. If you kick someone from Skolas you can't invite someone else because they can't join without the other 2 wiping. This would mean no rewards for anyone. If it's true your brother got kicked, then I'm sorry. That sucks. Maybe an 11 year old shouldn't be playing online games with complete strangers. Sounds like poor supervision and poor parenting to me. P.S. don't expect sympathy here.

Well either your brother isn't telling you the full truth or the guy who kicked him doesn't know what he's doing. Once the round of skolas has started nobody can join unless you wipe and restart the round. So even if he kicked him after skolas died his friend wouldn't be able to join and get the rewards unless they started the whole round over. And IMO the best rewards drop instantly after skolas drops(ie. Primary with burns and elder ciphers) everything obtained after that can be received from 32 and 34.

this should be illegal and players that kick ppl after an activity like that should be banned from all PoE activity for 1 month, as well as not being able to be leader of any fireteam for 2 months.

Wow what a dick. I have to do skolas two more times this week my GT is same as name if your brother wants to join me. I wouldn't kick him but he can host it if it gives him peace of mind

1 ReplyIf legit players try to join while a group is fighting Skolas or later on, you are unable to join because the activity is close to ending. If this actually happened no one was able to join and the guy is either an idiot or did it for the Lulz. Welcome to the internet... Caution is advised.

And also just console him and let him know that this is a cruel world, but he should still try to be kind despite that fact. Be a good example to him. Don't create another jaded soul.
