So this guy was a complete asshole to my little brother...
JUST NOW MY BROTHER BEAT SKOLAS AGAIN-AND GOT REWARDS THIS TIME!
My 11 year old brother came to me in tears just now. He had just beaten Skolas with two other guys and IMMEDIATELY got kicked right after Skolas went down. Then, this guy invited his friend to get the rewards, and started being a complete dick to my little brother for no reason. My brother said they called him "really mean names," and I frankly don't want to think about what that could mean.
Why do people do this? I don't understand. I don't care if it's the Internet and people can be dickheads over anonymity, this is horrible. My brother shouldn't come to me crying because of some dickhead loser kicking him from the treasure room.
Edit: to those who don't believe me, check my bro's history "Donald Doge"
Edit 2: bro just told me he was kicked right after Skolas went down, so he didn't even get the drops. I had gotten that part wrong, but I edited it now
Edit 3: Someone researched this guy and apparently he's the Xbox Live version of KirmitTHEFrog, he kicks everyone and invites his friends after completing activities. I can't post gamertags, but if you could do me the favor of finding my bro's Skolas match from earlier today and report that guy, it'd be great
Edit 4: I can't believe this community. The kid who glitched and got his characters deleted got nothing but support, yet my brother who beat Skolas, got kicked AND cursed at by adults is being told he shouldn't have been doing that. -blam!-ing really guys? I'm done with this site. Yeah, I should've monitored it better, I'm doing that from now on, but seriously?! I doubt many of you have kids or younger siblings. Smh

I'm sorry for your brother but I can't get past his in your post you said that the fireteam leader kicked him and invited a friend for the loot, but you can't invite at Skolas without wiping so they would have had to do him again Unless after you kill Skolas you can invite freely

4 RepliesWhy you making such a big deal about this ? You should tell your brother it's just a game and if he is good enough to beat skolas once he can do this again. Make him a stronger minded person from this incident, not have a cry about it on the internet. Next time get him to play with regular players who are on his friend list, this might help to avoiding future incidents.

I just checked Destiny Tracker and it seems legit except it wasn't Kirmit. It shows Donald was at Skolas with a fireteam but at the end Donald is gone and another guy with 0 kills is there. It sucks people do that.

Sucks what happened to your brother. But people Are scum, and it's unfortunate he had to see that first hand. I play with randoms on these forums and haven't had that happen to me YET. Hope he gets over it and sees that people aren't really what they seem to be

This is just dumb. Kicking someone is one thing. Maybe they were an idiot to begin with and you just use him but if they feel the need to call someone names that's a whole different story. On a side note. I'm rather new myself so excuse my dumb question. People say you can't join unless it's a wipe. So what happens if they kill skolas go to the air lock and blow themselves up via granade? Skolas is dead no? So they would just respawn at the top just like if you died jumping down. Is that a possibility?

I am so sorry to hear this. I recently had my own trouble with a really douchy group on Crota's End where the team I was joining immediately started insulting me over my username and voice and even told me to kill myself. Really don't understand why that happened. Anyways, hope you have better luck in the future like I have. It's not something that should happen to anyone, especially to younger kids but unfortunately it does happen.

I am sorry about your brother running into jerkwads like that, and I honestly believe people who abuse kicking should be permabanned from Destiny. It highlights the importance of having optional matchmaking and in-game LFG for all aspects of Destiny.

2 RepliesI have encountered this guy myself about a month ago. He kicked me from the level 34 boss round. Later I was looking at his profile and saw that he recorded a clip of kicking me. You can see my GT in the clip, dragonmech70.
