I consider myself a decent sniper, but when I go into Crucible, I'm wrecked beyond belief. There are guys who headshot me the very second they scope in. It's -blam!-ing ridiculous! I don't understand how they do it!
EDIT: A lot of people are saying that they get their skill from Halo. However, I actually snipe very well in Halo, but not-so-well in Destiny.

Hackz
-
Just keep playin with no land beyond and u will Improve
-
Snipers (some) in this game have massive aim assist.
-
Reaction speed. Some have it some dont.
-
Years of halo CoD and resident evil trust me that will get your accuracy up
-
I don't usually snipe, but when I do, I use No Land Beyond. It doesn't have that stupid 800x zoom like other snipers, so it's actually useful in smaller maps.
-
My skill comes from many clan matches on CoD.
-
Got my skill with precision hitting from Mass Effect Phalanx / Paladin and Black Widow / Valiant ftw
-
Lol "why are they so good at sniping"? Its because when they snipe you and your like "wow they're so good" u dont know this but there actually hitting u in the body (final round), well next to your body but it counts anyway due to "increased target acquisition". As well as the ungodly amount of aim assist makes it so they dont have to aim.

You can quick scope a couple of rifles in Destiny. No Land Beyond and Icebreaker for sure. At least from I've been told.
-
The Hidden Hand perk helps a lot. It's damn near auto aim
-
Only use your sniper and keep practicing. It gets to a point where you don't even think about aiming anymore it becomes natural instinct.
-
Aim Assist and Bullet Magnetism. They just need to aim near your head.
-
Practice
-
I started sniping in Halo, and soon enough I was hitting headshots constantly. Guess that passed over to Destiny....
-
Ya halo pretty much explains it. Just sucks no scoping doesn't work like halo it usually saved me back in the day.
-
Got my sniping skill from battlefield
-
No land beyond for the win.
-
Just aim near the head. Instant headshot.
-
A lot of snipers tell me they keep their sensitivity very low, like 3 or 4. Might help.
-
they use a mouse and keyboard
-
Search up truevanguard on YouTube, I got a lot better at sniping thxs to him
-
Practice makes perfect :P
-
CoD made me do it... I'm sorry... lol

Edited by coyote-32: 6/13/2015 7:49:16 PMI've started to use Snipers in Destiny just recently because I got my hands on Patience and Time. I really enjoy using that sniper a lot. Using a Sniper with a larger magazine seems to be a better choice for me currently because of my inexperience with snipers. Thats my first tip for you, use a Sniper that has a larger magazine. Make sure you have a good primary to switch to in case someone gets close to you, because it will happen and that person will probably have a shotgun because its the Crucible. My last tip is be patient sniping in Destiny, its not run and gun like it is in Halo.

They spend all their free time on the game
