Hi all,
please reply to me with whatever error code you are currently receiving, along with your console and region (country). That will help narrow down the issue.
I will update this thread along when I get more information.
PlayStation Network is fine a the moment: https://status.playstation.com/en-us/
UPDATE: Xbox Live's Status now states connection issues to Destiny: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status
Thanks a lot and please stay patient as top men are working on it!
UPDATE: It seems to me that it is an internet provider error (which has happened before). The lots of Banjo and Cattle errors in the US lead me to that assumption. If you want to, please note your internet provider. Many people seems to have issues with IP Comcast/Xfinity.
UPDATE2: Also please edit your post in case the error codes resolved.
UPDATE3: Rest assured, Bungie is already well aware of this issue: https://twitter.com/bungiehelp
UPDATE4: Please retry to log in again periodically to see if the issue resolved. You might want to check if your network is up to date with Bungie's suggestion in the Network Troubleshooting Guide.
UPDATE5: You may also want to try if this issue only happens within Destiny or if you also have troubles connecting online in other games.
UPDATE6: I'm noting that there are many less replies coming in. It appears to me that the issue is slowly starting to disappear.
NOTE: I am in no form a Bungie Employee, so I cannot do anything about the errors myself.
Also note, I cannot reply to every post. I try to communicate with you via updating this post.

Help this is so frustrating. I have a PS4, live in SW Florida (Cape Coral), and have CATTLE and BANJO error codes that prevent me from signing in. I've already messed around with port forwarding and that whole bit in the past in order to change the NAT type. Apparently that hasn't done squat as I am experiencing that same signing in problem. Usually after 1 or 2 retries I'm able to log in but right now is the worst I've ever experienced, which is why I am writing this post. Please help. I'm pretty experienced with networking so making the required changes shouldn't be a problem for me to implement, but I'm sure there are many others out there who aren't too saavy with networking. Thanks.
