Nerf or remove Gjallarhorn!
For too long the Gjallarhorn has been a crutch for PvE players! All I can see on the recruitment channel LFG's is 'must have maxed out Gjallarhorn' it's been this way for quite some time! Bungie need to step up, either nerf this weapon or even better the addition of new go to weapons with a slight increase in drop rate. There needs to be more variation, similarly just as PvP has Thorn, PvE has the Gjallarhorn. Why are we being forced into using these 'go to' weapons! Good job Bungie!

10 RepliesI would only want it nerfed (I don't have it) because it has become a serious issue with LFG as of recent. Too many activities (cough cough Prison of Elders bosses) are starting to actually be difficult so by default, people are requiring an admitted overpowered rocket launcher. If you do not agree that it is overpowered, please feel free to list any and all rocket launchers that are bet than Gjallarhorn.

3 RepliesI've used this rocket before ppl even thought it was good first yellow just Bc its a good wepon don't mean it needs nerf.thorn is unfair and not balanced it took over pvp so much that you run in to more than two ppl using it a game it ruins pvp.the rocket don't ruin anything and it don't affect u at all.

As soon as you get one you would be one of these asshats that post " level 34 only with maxed ghorn to walk around the tower" People that post "nerf this gun" don't deserve said gun. I don't think they should get rid of the ghorn it is a powerful tool no doubt but by no means do I consider it a crutch. There was a time not to long ago where I did not have a gjallahorn and I was still able to solo night falls/complete raids etc etc. I do however that people need to stop restricting their players to gjallahorns only. It's laughable when you see posts like "must be level 34, must have gjallahorn, must not suck" I would never restrict people on my fire team based on if they have the ghorn or not. As long as I have it, I don't care if anyone else does. It's great for majors in a pinch.

Can I tell you to get good at nerosurgery, paramedicine, astrophysics, being a NFL quarterback, etc. NOT everyone can do everything super super well. Doesn't mean just because I don't have the skill to be a NFL quarterback or NBA player, doesn't mean I don't like playing in the backyard. So, some people are only so good at fps games and will ALWAYS only be that good. Never better. Doesn't mean they don't want to play, they just won't be on the caliber of Johnathan Wendel. So, some people (myself included) need that crutch, let them have it.

Quit crying. It took me forever to get this gun. You'll eventually get one. It shines in PVE. Why the hell should a weapon be nerfed for PvE? Want to go do SKOLAS without having to need a gjallarhorn? Do it now since its void burn. Only time it'll be required is on solar lol

Hate the player not the game. The problem isn't the ghorn, it's the idiots that require it to join their mediocre party. Solution, make friends who careless what a person has. But these nerf ghorn because people are immature idiots that won't let me join their "reindeer games"(sp) posts are getting hella old. If people think the weapon is a crutch, don't use it, simple. The ghorn is the only exotic that lives up to its monicker. Bitching ruined the vex, it ruined ARs. I just wish said bitching would stop.

You shouldn't nerf Ghorn. Scrubs insist on using it for raids because it's overpowered, otherwise they would quit playing.
