Apparently in the Destiny universe there are 4 stages of matter liquid, solid, gas, and engram. I just [i]assume[/i] that the little purple/green boxes we pick up are bullets in engram form then depending on how those engrams load into the gun get programmed into different types of bullets. I know it doesn't make any real sense but it is a video game and I'm just putting it into video game logic.
