There are many finished or almost finished ares in the game that were supposed to be there already. The only reason they aren't accessible is because of Activision and their greedy ways. All of these areas should be finished and released for free, but since Activision is so greedy, they will charge $20 for it. Who else thinks this needs to be changed?

It doesn't surprise me everyone picked free maps but Bungie still needs money to expand their game.
-
Bungie has a 10 year plan. By ur logic they should fly by the seat of their pants with each DLC. That's not how long term strategy works. They require planning and foresight. Learn how this works and affects ur experience, then get back to us when you figure it out...

I think we should be able to go to kings watch in patrol. I dont understand why some mission areas are locked out in patrol

Edited by NatalieBee: 5/29/2015 3:05:42 PMLol I'm 12 and I understand why Bungie does this everyone who puts free needs to get a reality check

...from the mind of a child. What kind of entitled, spoiled brats are being raised today? A total failure of parenting. What's next, the government will have to subsidize the gaming industry because every little bed-wetter has a right to free games? We're doomed.
-
some should be free but most pay like 5-10$ cuz they have been worked on a lot since launch probably
-
All areas that were already in the game are now bought. The next areas are coming in comet. Comet will most likely have the areas for vex void and forge of gods stored on it.
if you didn't know, comet is basically Destiny 1.5
-
All finished areas have been released. There aren't anymore disc locked areas I know of.
-
RE: Your poll. There are no finished areas that are not accessible at this point. Nor were there any pre-HoW or pre-TDB. There were placeholders of things they were actively working on but not done with yet. It's easier to slap a wall or closed door in front of an incomplete zone than it is to delete the entire zone and everything related to it and risk breaking something.
-
Edited by spooky: 5/29/2015 2:17:39 PMThere were never any "extra" finished areas to begin with.. They were all prototype areas built for possible later use.
-
You never know, cod or other games with dlc could have it already in the game, but most people are happy to pay for it. Just because its in the game, doesnt mean it should be free
-
Edited by HiddenHavoc9886: 5/29/2015 2:20:14 PMFinished? The actual released content isn't finished yet. Neither is the stuff purposefully left out,
-
Link me one area that was unfinished with proof that it was not included in the game, all the way up to where HoW updated the available areas accessable in the game.
-
Edited by TheBodomReaper: 5/28/2015 12:46:28 AMWhat finished areas?
-
Who says all the areas are finished? Evidence from bungie please
-
Where are these area's?
-
It isn't Bungie's fault though. It's Activision. Bungie made the Flood Trilogy of Halo, one of the best trilogies to have ever existed. Well planned, developed, etc. Activision is making Bungie sell us incomplete content in order to sell the rest later to squeeze out a profit. Why the hell are you all blaming Bungie? Clearly, you guys haven't been paying attention.
-
Just because there is an area of the map on disc doesn't mean it's finished. There's quite a bit more to be done with it it's probably the first thing they did was make maps. You downloaded huge updates for the DLC don't be dumb. (Probably was still kept out for money though)
-
agreed.
-
They are a very big business and to run such a business, they need money. So by having people pay for areas is how they get the money. Otherwise they really make no money after you purchase the game.
-
I agree with you completely... DLC should be additional content, not something that was stripped from the game before release. The worst part about it with Destiny is that the game feels very incomplete. Seeing that areas like the Terminus or things llike our third empty class slot makes me feel defensive as I feel as if I'm being screwed. It would be different if Destiny had an in-depth storyline, a true open world concept, or even just alot of content pre-DLC; but they dont. I've made alot of friends on Destiny and I love the physics of the game, but I won't be buying any future Bungie projects as I've now learned how getting into their games and spennding more money on their DLC makes me feel (bad).
-
There is no 3rd Subclass in the game you dumb morrons!
-
They aren't finished, which means they clearly weren't part of the original release. If they were finished, you would have a point... But they aren't finished.
-
Oh. This again.
-
Now with the release of HoW all content going forward will be from scratch so stop bitching.
-
They already did open them up, we stupidly payed for house of wolves, which I'm already bored of.
