In Trials, if you die, you stay dead until someone revives you. That's it. That's the way it should be.
No Warlock should be able to self-rez in the Trials.
That's just my two cents. What do you guys think?
EDIT: After playing Trials for a bit longer, I realized that Fireborn is not as OP as I thought. It just takes some getting used too.
I have read most of the comments so far, and some are convincing and actually have evidence behind why it isn't OP (or is), and other's are just bashing me for my opinion (which is now not what I think anymore).
Cruelocity is right in saying that I made this post out of rage because my fireteam kept getting absolutely wrecked when the enemy self-rezzed.
We now have evolved, and plan for that. Like some people said "Make sure to watch the dead ghosts and plan for the attack."
Other people are right in saying that if one super is disabled, then all should be.
Some are right in saying that if a self-rez can turn the tide of battle, so can a Golden Gun or Titan Smash.
I realized that Fireborn is not OP. It's just a tactic that I need to learn from and adapt too.
I apologize for my ignorance.
On the upside, Trials is amazing and a great competitive game mode.
One more complaint though, when you get disconnected for a Trials match, it shouldn't mark you down for a loss, especially when you have a Mercy of Osiris.
That is all. I appreciate everyone's feedback. You guys changed my opinion on Fireborn! Congrats haha

Well I'm glad that my team just lost on 9 wins to a warlock who rezzed after we killed his whole team. Fair amiright. Came down to 4 on both teams and he rezzed because we were low due to thorns and he has a shit ton of health due to radiance
-
Bro, I went flawless and probably half of those matches had a sunsinger self-rezzing. The moment I saw him get up, 1 shot from my Felwinter's Lie killed him. It's not hard.
-
"Slooowww clap". First ever "I'm sorry I rage posted, read your valid counter arguments, now agree and apologized" on the internet ever 0.o. Well done, well done
-
BlackLahnik, I applaud your willingness to change your opinion! So many other would not do that. Good Hunting, Guardian!
-
If all 3 players die then self res should not be allowed to activate. If you lose it should stay that way. Hunter 1 life Titan 1 life Warlocks 2 life 3 warlocks = 6 lives.
-
Bump for the edit.
-
The big issue I have with it, and I play a Warlock mostly, is that I have seen a Sunsinger self res about 3 min after being killed. Now maybe that was an isolated incident, but if not, that's a tad ridiculous.
-
If you can't counter a self-rezing warlock you should seriously reevaluate your time spent in this game.
-
Everyone that is insulting me and calling me retarded, like seriously? That's extremely immature. I asked for your opinion, not your insult. Some of you guys are calling me a kid, when you are clearly the kids here. Control what you say, or unless no one will end up taking you seriously. I'm honestly laughing at all of you guys calling me "-blam!-ing retarded".
-
I think of all 3 people are dead you shouldn't be able to self revive and come back. The round is already over.

Edited by ZerogaK: 5/23/2015 6:30:16 PMKeep an eye out for your enemy's Level! If the number is Blinking with a Golden Aura, then it means he is Super Charged! Inspect your opponents as you enter the stage, and check what they are using. Also, check for any Sunsingers as you Inspect them. If he is already Super Charged as you kill him, keep an extra eye on him :)
-
We were wrecking a team earlier who went 0-4 and they all left. Gave us a free win and our last win needed for the lighthouse. Thanks guys that left. Lol. Flawless too
-
I have learned to look ahead and see who's fireborn on the other team. If I kill them they get camped with my Felwinters Lie. Self Rez if you wanna I'm gonna annihilate you immediately.
-
It's really not that op I use radiant skin, people just shotgun you if you use it.
-
It's fine, as soon as they self rez just kill them again.
-
Your totally right dude like why should the warlock even get a super in the trials he should just have a super that makes him glow and looks cool.
you are a -blam!-ing idiot.
-
A fireborn Sunsinger has the same health as a normal player not that hard to kill
-
Hey or, or, or, just hear me out here...
shot them in the face with an LDR.
:0
-
You can't take it out of the game, but it is quite hilarious
-
No it's not. Make it through that round and they have NO supers. They self-res, knock Em out, and go ham. Seriously was never at the point where the self-res decided the game
-
That's why when you get a kill, you watch the damn ghosts. Or have someone else watch them while you hunt.
-
Bro just stay by the warlocks body, and if you see "____ Self Resurrected," just go behind them, wait till they are fully straight since thats when they are not immune anymore, and shotgun, melee, and you have the right to tbag.
-
Not OP. You just have to figure out if they have it or not and stay away from the body when they die. That should be part of your strategy when facing anyone, which is to figure out what they have and counter it. Funny shit though is when you kill a warlock with golden gun they always seem to self rez while golden gun is still active and then just die again. It's like they are attracted to the light :)
-
I agree. And for it to be balanced I think that all supers should be disabled. A team of sunsingers is cheese. so is a team of titans with bubbles. or a team of hunters with arc blade. Am I right?
-
The funniest thing I've seen is a guy revive himself at the end and the round ended. Super wasted!
-
It's really not, I'd rather face three sunsingers than three gunslingers. It's also not guaranteed they even earn their self res in a match, happened several times and when they did I nova bombed them and ended it
