I sagged down into my plush couch in my living quarters. I sighed as I felt myself sink in. I looked around appreciating my lot in life. While I am a guardian and I had seen things in my life worse than anyone could imagine, I had a nice place and cool friends. I reached for my holo-project remote and knocked it over. Sighing I got up. As I stood, I felt my gun digging into my back. I must have forgotten to take it off. I grabbed the remote at the exact time my ghost materialized.
"Urgent message, from the speaker." He said.
"Isn't it always?" I replied, "play it through."
"Krora, I need you to gather your team." the speaker said, "activity has been reported near the Vault of Glass. I need you and your team to check it out."
"Ok, I'm on it." Then I heard the beep of the speaker signing off.
I sighed again. We had beaten the Vault just a week ago. Damned Vex and THIER time traveling abilities, I thought. Why can't they rebuild slowly like everyone else? Why do they have to keep reversing time? It seems that the Vault would be forever problematic.
I sat back down now having my Badger CCL in my lap. I double checked that it's ammo was full and then made sure I had twenty synths for it. More to waste time than anything else.
"Dinklebot?"
"Yes?"
"Could you please summon in all of my weapons?"
I heard a din as my weapons clattered to the ground. From TFWPKY 1919 to Gjallahorns, I began to inventory all of them for the hundredth time. I made sure they were all working and had twenty synths each. When I finished hours later, I showered for bed. After I walked out of the bathroom, I tripped face first into my pile of weapons. I groaned.
"Ghost, please remove these items from my room." Just like that all the weapons disappeared and I fell flat on to my face. I groaned again. I picked myself up and unconsciously brushed off my robes. Maybe I shouldn't be a warlock. The decisions I make...
Whir, whirrr, whirrrr... the lights flicked out. Thats strange, I thought. I had replaced the light receptors just last week. As I began to turn toward the first light I heard a mechanical voice.
"You have disturbed time," it boomed, " you will never escape times wrath."
