Dear Bungie,
I have recently acquired a "Vex Mythoclast", and it is with fair certainty I can say that it is somewhat broken. There are three things that need to be addressed: accuracy, damage, and ammo.
(*EDIT* This is the main issue. The other two problems can be readily disregarded.) First and foremost is the accuracy. Unlike most weapons, the projectiles do not fire in a predictable manner in relation to the reticule. Let me further elaborate. A scout or auto rifle's bullet will typically hit dead center of its aimed-down sight. A hand cannon typically hits just below the sight. The "Mythoclast", however, seems to have a fairly random "radius" around its sight. This means that what would appear to be a clear precision shot actually turns into a gamble. It seems rather ludicrous that the single most technologically advanced gun in the game cannot fire in a straight line.
The second issue is damage. I fully understand this is a touchy issue in itself, but it must be said regardless. The damage itself is not too bad, and still boasts a note-worthy kill time. That said, the damage seems pretty low relative to the gun's high recoil, low magazine, and low reserve ammo. How this is fixed is very well up to debate.
Lastly is ammo. The reserve ammo for the weapon is abysmal. Tying back to the damage, this gun simply eats clean through its reserves and can easily run out without constant refreshment. Even with a "fusion rifle ammo" buff, the reserve still only sits at a petty 207 rounds. That is roughly the same as a scout rifle without any ammo up grades. A few more magazines worth of ammo would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for listening Bungie.
Sincerely,
Sol Ace
